Hi all, i want to know whether a course based option in MSc. Software Engineering is available in UofC r not. The website says that UofC offers the course work of MSc. software Engineering

but when one of my friends enquired he was informed that no course work is offered…so kindly clarify me abt this…...Also clear me whether it is offerec to the next year students…...
You should consult the U of C Graduate Calender to find out all the information you need about their programs.
From what I could find about the CS/SE MSc program, it’s thesis based. It has some course requirement but also involves research and a seminar presentation.
Thanks u oLahav for ur research for my sake…......CS/SE MSc program in calgary is a thesis based but they also offer a Software engineering MS by department of computer science jointly with the department of electrical engineering…only this is mentioned as MS. SE (course based).........kinldy can u find info abt this…......
You’re right, you can find more information about the program on page 95-96 of the graduate calender.
The program requires :
a) 2.5 full-course equivalents selected from a
specified list of courses
b) An applied software engineering project written up
as a Master of Science thesis and examined by an
examination committee as specified in the Faculty
regulations.
