    Hello,

When you attend a visa interview session please remember the visa officer is looking for an honest student who intends to study in a foreign University, has reasonable funds and an economic standing/ financial plan to pay for it and intends to return to homeland upon completion of the program.

The interview will almost always be conducted in English and will be hardly for probably 2 - 3 minutes. Your family members, friends or representatives cannot attend the interview with you and the visa officer will render his/her decision immediately when the interview is finished.

Don't memorize your answers; rather prepare well and give short, direct answers. Most of the questions attempt to check and verify your academic intentions, how serious you are about your academic decisions, and your true intention of staying back or returning home.

Practice your conversational English. Speak clearly and with the appropriate volume.

Do not argue. Maintain a positive attitude. Be friendly and courteous.

To feel comfortable during the interview please find below some questions short listed that you may come across during your visa interview :

    Do you need an interpreter?
How many universities you have applied for?
    What is your specialization?
    What's your father's annual income?
    What you Father do?
Who is sponsoring you and why?
Do you have any relatives at Canada?
    Did you receive any scholarship?
What will you do if visa rejected?
What you plan to study in university?
Why did you select this course? Is it relevant to your previous studies?
Why did you select this course? Is it relevant to your previous studies?
Can you tell me the location of the university/college?
What is the scope of your course?
Why are you taking this course?
    What is the course structure?
Do you intend to work in US after completion of your studies?
What do you intend to you after completion of your studies?
    What are your future plans?
What benefit will bring this course to you?
Why did you choose this institute and how did you find about it?

    Good luck!
