    Hello Aditika,

Please note there are good number of options that you can consider in the field of computers in Canada and other locations as well. However, it is most likely not offer a degree title as 'Computer Application'.

You can consider options like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology etc. A more appropriate option would be to get back with your interests, priorities, career goals so that we can guide you with the apt selection of the program.

The other aspect that comes in front is with regard to the eligibility criteria defined by the Canadian educational system. Please note they require the completion of 16 years of formal education in the 10+2+4 pattern. Now a BCA graduation program in India is generally of 3 years and hence suffices with 15 years of formal education in your profile and could be a cause of worry while considering Canada as your option.

The advisable plan of action to maximize eligibility for Canadian graduate schools is to apply for a Post Graduate degree back home. A one-year university affiliated program will make up for the fourth year of a Canadian Undergraduate degree. However, since no standardized policy exists regarding the acceptance of such programs and some universities may accept the three-year Indian Graduation Degree for a few programs. A confirmation can only be obtained by either writing directly or formally applying to the universities concerned.

While you prepare on the above stated, do begin with the preparation of the certain test takes that are defined as the eligibility criteria by majority of the Canadian universities. These include the standardized test GRE and either of the English Proficiency Test (TOEFL / TOEFL). If however, Canada happens to be the only or prime consideration then I would recommend you opt for IETLS for the very reason that it has been in the system for quite some time now.

Do get back with the above specified details, assess on the stated facts and get back with your decision so that we can guide you further.

    Take care!
